Why do parents/patients use Grace MD Connect/Medici?
Parents use medici to connect with a board certified pediatrician for quick treatment and requests, such as an answer to a health question, urgent treatment for minor medical issues, or a follow-up appointment for your child.
How can a doctor treat my child without a physical exam?
Your doctor actually doesn’t need to do a physical exam to diagnose and treat many minor conditions. That’s because knowing your child’s medical history is considered “90% of the evaluation” when combined with the doctor-patient/parent interaction. How your child is feeling can be just as important to your doctor as the results of a physical exam. Plus, being able to see your child and view any picture uploads via Medici gives your doctor the additional visual information needed to make a diagnosis.
How does Grace MD Connect/Medici work?
It’s easy! If you’re a new user, you will download the Medici app and your doctor from Grace MDConnect will send you an invite. It’s that simple. It is HIPAA secure and you can do video visits, text and upload pictures in the app. It is very easy to use even if you are not tech savvy.
Can my doctor prescribe medication
Yes. If your doctor decides your child needs treatment, he or she will send your prescription electronically to your pharmacy so it’s ready to pick-up when you arrive.
Can Grace MD Connect/Medici be used for medical emergencies?
